Vicarious Vacations
Vicarious Vacations is our show where you may travel virtually, get destination ideas and trip planning secrets through host Wendy Hesse’s interviews with intrepid locals. Join her this month while she recounts her summer trip to Las Vegas to see Dead & Company perform at the sphere.
Vicarious Vacations airs at Noon on second and fourth weekends – November 9th and 10th, 23rd and 24th.
For the Love of Dogs
In the Company of Dogs, first-time dog owner Pamela Ortet and canine-expert Joe Riva took us from the rigors of raising a puppy to the ins and outs of adult dog training and on to the sorrows of doggie old age. Pamela, now seasoned dog owner of more than two years, wanted to know more about Man’s Best Friend. For answers to her canine related queries, we have invented another program, this one called For the Love of Dogs.
Among her questions: What is life like for a visually-impaired person and his or her seeing-eye dog? To answer, she consulted Cody Meyer and his dog Ronan, his loyal companion for eight years. Tune in on Saturday and Sunday, November 23rd and 24th at 9am to hear about the process of acquiring a Seeing Eye Dog and the relationship that grows from it.
Equestrian Arts
Over the last 7 years Earlene Smith, with help from Susan Thoms, Kelli O’Brien and Stan Smith, has created an incredible array of shows all about horses. It is called Equestrian Arts. Next week’s show features Earlene’s Ten Commandments of Good Horsemanship. This very fine advice can be heard Thursday and Monday, November 14th and 18th at 10am and Friday, November 15th at Noon.
