Tuolumne County Trailhead
A blast from the past, Tuolumne County Trailhead makes a reappearance with a special episode about the August 8th, 2024 Canyon Fire near the West Side Trail in Tuolumne. The episode, “Canyon Fire Special,” features an interview with Pat Cervelli and Phyllis Ashmead who were evacuated from their homes in the wee hours as firefighters took on the blaze.
The second part of the show is a reprise of a March 2021 interview with Stephen Johnson, the project manager who oversaw the creation of the Ponderosa-Mira Monte Fuel Break which was instrumental in a firefight which resulted in no serious injuries or structures lost.
Tuolumne County Trailhead airs on Saturday and Sunday, September 28th and 29th at Noon.
Vicarious Vacations
Spend four weeks in Italy without leaving home — vicariously!
Ellen Stewart rambled through Sicily and Naples with friends and family, then Pamela Ortet joined her in Rome before they headed to Tuscany, Verona, Venice and Cinque Terra. Along the way, there were volcanoes, ocean views, wild car rides, villas, and vino.
Vicarious Vacations airs at Noon on second and fourth weekends – October 12th and 13th, 26th and 27th.
