We’re tearing up the pea patch in the KAAD headquarters – the basement of the Sonora Dome. After nine years of broadcasting, much of the equipment is showing signs of wear. Time for a make-over.

With the success of our recent fundraiser in December and some major contributions, we at last had the funds to make the broadcast studio more functional and pleasant.

Heading up the team to rejuvenate is a former corporate Senior Project Manager Ron Edson, who has held a variety of positions at KAAD ranging from DJ to educator. He is tasked with the role of project architect and organizer. He is pictured here embracing the new heart of the broadcast, a stack of equipment that makes the whole operation work.

Ron is assisted by Crossroads host, Ken Horn on construction, tech trouble shooter Tyler Jackson for all matters computer. And for all matters audio, Music Talks host Chuck Beutter is pictured working tirelessly on creating necessary cable. Waiting in the wings for the moment everything is ready to use, Traffic Jam host Dave Allen will take on the role of training the rest of the DJ’s on how to use the new equipment.
